OSV BERANI
The “OSV BERANI” is a DP2 (Dynamic Positioning Ver. 2) Workboat, which uses auto-positioning to maintain its positioning in deep-water areas using the vessel's thrusters where Mooring operations are not possible, thereby enabling the vessel to operate on a 24/7 basis.
It is a vessel designed to be used for construction or repair, with FiFi2 fire-fighting capabilities and readily utilised for emergency relief situations. It can accommodate up to 200 passengers, with an extra 100 passengers during emergency cases. The vessel has a 64-tonne Crane for construction or repair works to be carried out offshore.
Currently, this vessel is contracted to Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) as a construction and repair vessel for deep-water operations.
